Owen and Weston just being cute. They were walking around the house with these flip flops singing and laughing and being silly.
I was traveling stand by because a friend gave me a buddy pass and I thought I would try it and see how it was. Traveling to Washington wasn't to bad - I made it on the same day. But my flight was full on the way home and looking at the following 5 days the planes had no extra seats. I found a ticket that would leave three days later that was a better price than all the rest and hurried and bought it. Instead of leaving Thursday morning I left Saturday night. So I got a bonus 3 extra days in Maryland. Yea! But I don't think I will go standby again - at least not in the summer.
This was one of the first space shuttles.
We decided to do another tourist attraction. We went to the National Air and Space Museum. It was not the one at the Smithsonian. It is 1 1/2 miles from one of the airports. It was amazing!
The architecture of this building was incredible, this was one HUGE building!

Below Myself and Owen. The small white bomber plane behind us was a Japanese suicide bomber. The plane is a bomb with a small place for pilot to sit and direct bomb. There were 5,000 missions which means 5,000 Japanese pilots died. Very worth while. They had tours going every half hour which when I did catch a few things they were saying it made it so much more interesting. Hard to do with little ones but if you don't have little ones I highly recommend it!!!
